I have a 4x4 with 5 flags on and a luggage roof-rack thing that is parked just down the road from my house :/

I've noticed that in various places on my journey to work there's been an escalation in the amount of flags that certain houses are putting up.

It's as if there's some desperate need to prove that they're more patriotic than their neighbours, a sort of jingoistic keeping up with the Jones'

The current winner is the family that have got a 3 Lions flag covering half the the ground floor of their house. (I'll try and get a photo, just to show how massive the thing is.)
