Rule 1: do not cause your customer to vomit Sep. 22nd, 2005 01:53 pm
Just been in two shops with malfunctioning halogen lighbulbs, flickering in that very special way that attempt to make me pass out and/or vomit.

I'm wondering how widely shared this reaction is...

This is a "bleagh" post Sep. 5th, 2004 10:40 am
Where is everyone this weekend? LJ seems dead... or is it just that I'm suffering from the distinctly unusual combination of feeling sociable and not having long-standing plans? Hopefully this mood will last (I seem to be getting more chilled again at the moment), and in any case I'll see folk soon at BU and B-movie. No I'm not expecting people to make plans around me, but (assuming the recent work situation gets resolved) this is notice that I'll be out a bit more in the near future.

Feeling kind of at a loose end today, as well as slightly groggy - as ever, when I finally catch up on my sleep I feel all the negative effects of oversleeping (generally heavy-headedness and a lack of drive, and no I'm not hung over).

Yeah, this is a fairly content-free post anyway... it's that or doing the remains of the housework, which never makes a great high-point to a weekend. Feel the self-indulgence ;)

Actually I think I'll do one of these to amuse me while I clear this place up:

Just for the record, or possibly the CD: Apr. 4th, 2004 12:50 pm
I feel that the costumes last night were worthy of recording, so please fill in the following:

Note that there's only one question, because viewing multiple text answers in LJ polls is a PITA, so please use the format Character (Musical) in your answer, so's we can view the whole lot as one Dramatis Personae.

And yes, I've got 13, 'cos it's more goff or summat (ok, 'cos I can't figure which item to drop... or I could make a poll out of that and pretend I meant to ;)
