This meme still works if your default icon is *not* a picture of yourself, and I'd be interested to see what thoughts they all trigger in other people. (Ideally post this in your own journal). Comments please, even if you don't know me. Don't be afraid to be wrong or offend me! [Icon included above as a lot of friends views leave out the icon] | ||
you look curious, and a little cautious - the facial expression seems to be saying 'what do you think?'

I'd agree and say curious also, but with a hint of 'Yes, And?' as if you've just been disturbed whilst doing something.
My immediate thought was "Yes! Cloning another Wechsler is indeed the way forward!"
My thoughts on the user icon...half scared, half curious, don't know whether you're about to run away, smile or throw a hissy fit (although you wouldn't).
Kind of like a cat looking at the inside of a bass drum, now i come to think about it...:)

At a push, I'd say "goth". I don't know where I get that idea from or anything. Ok, a "goth caught in the headlights". Or any light, for that matter. No no! Not the evil yellow face!
Ahem.
No, I don't know you. But I am rather bored.

Just left this post on screen and the head techy saw it:
"For a freakish second there I thought that was you."
"It is."
"Ah. [pause] Tasty."

It is a good picture, the expression is hmmm... dunno, could be intense, pensive, cautious... leaning to the latter.
You look like you're peering cautiously and curiously out from behind a wall.... except there's no wall, I know, but that's my first impression. It's a very inquistive cat expression.

You look nervous, curious, and gay.
From: Date: November 13th, 2002 - 06:30 am (Link) |
How does one look gay?
Date: November 13th, 2002 - 06:32 am (Link) |
It's the mouth. That's a gay looking mouth if ever I saw one.
*nods* Yes.

erm. OK.

*smile* And you have gay knees.
Don't ask me why, I don't know. I don't make the rules!

I'll start writing that on equal opportunities forms that ask my sexuality: "Bisexual, but with gay knees".
Date: November 13th, 2002 - 06:45 am (Link) |
Good idea. You can then ask them things like "Are you holding something against my knees?" if they make anti-gay cracks around you......

Hey, and "You got something to say about poofs, mister? Say it to my knees!"
Date: November 13th, 2002 - 08:29 am (Link) |
Hesitant. A bit aloof.
Having only met you about twice...
From the photo alone you look like you might be far too busy being a goth (albeit a pretty one) to have a sense of humour. Which doesn't appear to be true :)

Your default icon makes me think 'crikey, a goth doing a goth face, how rare'. I've never met you, so I'm only going on what I've read of you lj, but most of your other photo icons seem a lot more representative of what you're actually like.
They make me realise that attractive men tend to have kind of pointy chins, and faces that get kind of linearly narrower from the cheekbones down, to a small chin with a kind of dimply bit in the middle, whereas I'm kind of more rectangular and my chin flat.
I'd hate to have a real picture as a usericon, I'd have to do something to stop me having to see it. That's why I've been using lynx to look at the bicon site. I think my black one with a light off the bottom right is really quite an accurate depiction of how I feel. The little blue man is how I'd like to feel. The mookie-designed one and the vollers logo are (pretty much) two sides of the objectification thing, which is useful, but essentially something I hate.
