Oooh, pretty things.  I like Aragorn's ring...  (ObSnigger)

I don't suppose the swords would be worth owning, the balance on display things like that is generally terrible...

The swords are fun - but simply stainless steel. It also mentions the fact they're from Toledo in Spain - which makes me think they're probably Art-Gladius ones.
Basically they're shaped bits of stainless steel - not hardened, tempered or balanced.
And no scabbard either.

Me like shiny swords.

They had a scabbard listed separately at the bottom of the page... but if they're not even hardened, you're not going to be wandering around bashing things with it, and it would probably look better left bare on a wall.

I like the look of these ones more anyway... I'm more of a point-work person than a hack-and-slash type, no bulging muscles y'see  :)

oooh! I lost that url ages ago - cheers!
I've got a modified version of the sword:

with a rounded pommel instead of the geometric shaped one. Looks lovely in the corner of my bedroom ;)

Cool.  Did you mod it yourself?  I bet it looks a lot nicer with the round pommel... that hexagonal affair has an unfortunate air of Chanel #5 about it  ;)

Chanel, not channel  *LOL*

(although actually it's not Chanel #5 that has a lid that shape anyway... does anyone know which perfume does? I'm curious now)

Tempering is easy, i could do it in my sleep. If i had a kiln and slept in heatproof clothes.
Hardening would take more than 50 years if it was already made though...

What I don't understand is, why hasn't anyone made the elven circlets? I so want one (or two, or three...)

That's exactly what i thought when i went to that page. Considering how many people like want circlets it seems mad not to...

Also http://ambreagorn.free.fr/diadem_en.html has some nice pieces, although not LotR specific designs...

Oooh pretty pretty!!!

Oh why am I broke? And why are the nicest designs on the second site only in gold? Blah, me and gold just don't get on.

Thank you for finding them though, they're the first circlets I've seen on sale ever. Gives me hope that I will one day find what I can see in my head.
