...is good. I've posted enough times in the past to say I'm knackered, depressed, ill etc, so this time I'm going to say: Life's good. Work wasn't bad to get back to, the ride in was cold and slow, but not generally bad - had a bit of confusion with the CMS at work not letting me do what I wanted, but such is life.|
Cutting down on caffeine, relaxing, managing time to myself, the support of friends, the xmas break, etc, all seems to have done me some good. I'm optomistic for this year - yes, it'll include a divorce, but at least that'll tidy up the loose ends. My own web project - the IP5 system - is proceding well, which is encouraging, and adds to my portfolio. Plus health is up and tiredness down.
Ow. The one thing that *is* bugging me though, is my shoulder. Feels like I slammed into a door at some point, which I can't actually remember doing. Doesn't really want to support the weight of my arm.
Was *very* glad to see valkyriekaren again on Saturday... I missed her so much over xmas! I'm also greatly looking forwards to seeing feanelwa and wildeabandon again. And duranorak, nevla, nisaba, the rest of the Cambs crowd (and the London crowd if I can get down there at some point...)
Plans ahead - get down to Camden (when it warms up a bit) - Em: want to meet up? Also get some people around to play Settlers ( I now have a UK set, will soon have the Seafarers expansion), and any other games of interest - anyone in Cambs up for it?
And hugs to kaet. Hope things are going a bit better...
