May Cause Drowsiness Mar. 28th, 2003 07:18 am
However, Actifed Decongestant tablets also list the following side effects "which are rare and usually mild":

Sleep disturbances, drowsiness, hallucinations, dry mouth, nose, or throat, skin rash with or without irritation, nausea and vomitting, upset stomach ...

This could very easily explain the insomnia (which of course occured again last night), which I'd put down to stress, although I wasn't feeling very stressed.

Evidently I'm developing an odd reaction to some medication. Sleep tablets also either fail or give me nightmares. None of these ever used to...

Oh, and in other news, I still need minions! (apparently if you've joined, you can still click that link every 24 hours to boost my army, or something)
Or are you all miles ahead of me and have been playing this for weeks?

I had a problem with sleeping last year. I can't recall the name of the tablets i was taking but they were herbal ones. Much more gentle.
Naturasleep or something. Taste foul, but seemed to work.

I refer you to my camomile tea comment on asrana's livejournal (basically, drink a little bit of it).
Also, breathe lavender and eucalyptus oils - alright, vapourise it on a lightbulb and then breathe the vapour - which is very good at decongesting noses.
