Well, that's what's splashed over the front pages of the Fallen Standard. Being of inquisitive mind I checked, and in my tube carriage (which wasn't too busy) it reached 95° F - I'm sure it was warmer in fuller / earlier ones :/

That said it's a "mere" 28/82 in my lounge :/

Fuck me. That's a record for this country. The highest before was 34°C and it was reported in Cambridge.

I don't think it counts when it's measured on the underground, though, as it's technically indoors.

Outdoors was about 30C all day.
