Depending on how bored you're feeling, hack around with some JavaScript (LJ's code for hiding/displaying the advanced Update items is a good example) and show/hide the second box depending on the choices in the drop-down.

You may want to leave the code for the second box around anyway just for people who dislike javascript.

LJ strips javascript from pretty much everywhere, so it's not an ideal choice for code intended to be dropped into LJ pages.

Ah, okay, wasn't aware of that (never having tried) but it makes sense. Oh well. In that case the second one (but fix the text wrapping a bit maybe - in IE at least I get:

only)

Which looks a bit silly - maybe put [F] on the two drop-down items that need it or something like that.
