Just been diagnosed with post-viral fatigue - advised to take another week off work and not drive.

Heh. Could kind of see that one coming.
*hugs* Try to get plenty of fresh air - take the laptop into the garden or something?

If you're not well enough to drive by Wednesday, yes. Would you be well enough if someone else could drive us up there, d'you think?
If not, I'll find a lift for myself, stock up the freezer and go on my own; I have the holiday booked already, I've paid for it, and I'm damn well going.

I have to collect the car tomorrow. I do not have a fucking clue what I'll feel like by wednesday.

Will it not be possible for you to collect the car another day, since you're not at work?

I know you don't know what you're going to feel like; I'm just trying to make contingency plans. I'm going to ask around and see if anyone can offer a lift for both of us, so even if you're not fit to drivem we can still go. The sea air will probably do you the power of good anyway.

I need this holiday, love. I'm exhausted, I've been working so hard the last few months and I just have to have a proper break or I'm going to end up ill.

Ask me later. I'm not in a state to even think about this right now.

OK. Go rest up, or go sit in the garden in the fresh air.

Oh, and I've bought you some Gingko Biloba and Echinacea herbal tea stuff, which is supposed to be good for fatigue, poor circulation and low immune system.

Eek, that's what azekeil had recently. They actually tested him for glandular fever twice because he was so bad with it, and he was effectively off work for a month. :/

Sorry to hear you're unwell, hope you get better soon.

Argh. I'm sorry to hear that. Having been off work with it for six months once myself, I'd recommend doing as little as possible - bed rest, if you can, until you start waking up refreshed (unless of course your doctor has told you otherwise). That was the first thing that started making any significant improvement, for me.
