Anyone need a router? Jun. 29th, 2004 09:55 am
For reasons that add up to rather a long story, a colleague has a brand-new router for sale:
Details:

It's the Linksys Wireless-G (compatible with wireless-b devices) VPN Broadband Router. Model number WRV54G. Below is a brief description and image. I paid £130 for it so to get that would be good. It's from the states so you need a transformer plug thing.

Linksys WRV54G Wireless Broadband Router with VPN includes a wireless Access Point, which lets you connect 802.11g or 802.11bdevices to the network. There's also a built-in 4-port full-duplex 10/100 Switch to connect your wired-Ethernet devices. The Router lets your whole network share a high-speed cable or DSL Internet connection. Finally, the Virtual Private Network (VPN) function creates encrypted "tunnels" through the Internet.
