1)Do you play RPGs?

No. I haven't played properly (eg. had any fun) for about 5 years

2) Which ones?

I used to play ShadowRun LOADS, modified with some contemporary weapons and vehicles, with no magic and rules changed slightly to increase pace and decrease boredom during firefights etc. Also the obvious AD&D, then later a middle-earth type one my group and I made up (using some simplified AD&D rules and a more diverse world). Before that I used to play 'Death' at secondary school, with a single 6-sided die and a couple of friends.

3) Do you GM?

I was OK, but I could never keep the thread for very long on account of being damn hyperactive. And I loved PCing.

RPG?

1) Do you play RPGs ?

Yep, every 2 weeks.

2) Which ones?

AD&D 3rd edition, played 2nd edition before, and a single run of 1st edition.

3) Do you GM?

Only did it once in AD&D 2ed., but will soon in 3ed.

1) Rather a lot, at the moment every other week.

2) I've played an enormous amount of games both tabletop and live (too many to list) At the moment I'm playing Ars Magica and running Rolemaster.

3) I actually GM more than I play.

I'm currently in a Rolemaster campaign (fantasy setting); before that I was in a Cyberpunk campaign (both GMed by robinbloke); before that in Rolemaster fantasy and cyberpunk campaigns GMed by emperor; before that in AD&D and a random system invented by the GM. I've also played in a couple of Ars Magica one-offs. I've never GMed myself, but would like to.

Not for a year or two but used to play:
Vampire: The Masquerade
Vampire: Dark Ages
Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay (still have the rare rulebook somewhere)
AD&D (second ed)
Dragon Warriors (still have 6 the now out-of-print books)
Fighting Fantasy (all versions)

Have only limited GMing experience, but would love to have another go.

1) Yup. You betcha.

2) Lessee...D&D in the Forgotten Realms setting as well as one of my own, GURPS Supers/Psionics with some Warehouse 23 thrown in, GURPS Space, Shadowrun, Stuperpowers (first rate RPG for third-rate superheroes), Pokethulhu (Pokemon/Cthulhu crossbreed), and Call of Cthulhu D20. I used to play White Wolf games, back before the WW guys became a bunch of wankers, but haven't in years.

3) Oh yes. I prefer to GM than be a player, since that way I A) don't have to be one of the star players, and B) I can enjoy making the puzzles and watching others solve them. I like to be the director, producer, set dresser, propmaster, scriptwriter, and extras. :-)

I once put up a housemate notice with "NO GAMERS PLEASE" at the bottom. That was after the Battletech enthusiast who'd leave a board set up on the kitchen table all week. And who completely threw the notion of personal hygiene out the window.

I play the following (ones marked with an asterisk I also GM):

White Wolf* (all except Wraith which I refuse to play/GM on mental health grounds), D&D*, AD&D* (2nd ed), Palladium*, GURPS*, Star Wars, CyberPunk*, CyberGen*, ShadowRun*, Deadlands, In Nominé*, Whispering Vault, SLA Industries, WFRP, Harn, Elfquest*, Marvel SuperHeroes*, Legacy, Pendragon*, Call Of Cthulu, Ars Magicka, Big Eyes Small Mouth (Animé RPG), Chill, Earthdawn, Kult, Immortal, Macho Women With Guns, Prime Directive and Traveller (various versions of).

I have also played Paranoia but didn't enjoy it - the GM went for a "serious" version and it really was not fun.

1. used to
2. Shadowrun, and oh dang it was a white wolf game, vampire I think but that doesn't sound right. Loved Shadowrun. I was a cat shaman who tended to fall asleep at inopportune times. They left me in the van and all got killed quite often. Teach them to leave the shaman behind.
3. no way man, can barely keep track of my own character let alone 4 or more.

1) I used to.
2) AD&D 2nd edition, Warhammer, and Cyberpunk.
3) Only once, and they complained the traps were too evil and the puzzles too fiendish. I made it all up myself which might not have been the best idea.

Yes. At the moment I am PCing in a Mage™ game on Monday nights. I have mainly played AD&D 2nd ed and some 3rd ed in the past, along with a smattering of Warhammer, Paranoia, Star Wars, CyberPunk and ShadowRun. I have GMed once or twice; I'm still waiting for an opportunity to write my own epic adventure based more around character development and plot twists than hack and slash (but of course every good adventure needs some of the old fashioned ultraviolence ;)
