Just got the following email, unique in that it actually contains UK postal addresses and phone numbers. It's a classic scam (taken straight from the egg adverts) and as such I thought it might be of some interest to the Met, as it contains contact details and operations info from what's fairly clearly a bunch of con artists. I mean, they might at least be interested in the info for their files...|
But no. Apparently it's of absolutely no interest as "no crime has been committed".
Still wondering if I should send it to SCD6 in case they're a bit more pro-active than the local control room.
