Yes - because, AFAIK, like everything else on LJ, comments are never deleted, only marked "don't show", so something that doesn't respect that part of the protocol will show 'deleted' comments.

The LJBackup tool will retrieve 'deleted' stuff in that way also.

Hopefully only your own comments, right? Or if I comment in your journal, and it gets deleted, can you still see it?

The timings are broken - I'm getting "-25380 seconds ago" and things like that for recent comment posting times.

You'll have to open a support request - I had nothing to do with the development of this!

Nice.

Out of curiousity, is there way of finding tools such as this ? (Other than reading about them when they first appear, or trawling the FAQ). I've always assumed there must be an "LJ Tools" page somewhere, but can't get to anything like it via the menus (only by typing the URL in).

Any ideas ?

I do read them sporadically, but wanted somewhere there showed "everything to date", rather than pointing out new things at the time.

However, it looks like things like the Memories page on lj_nifty may do what I want. Thanks.
