I have dark hair again. |
I also have a very nice second-hand biker jacket (for all of 30 quid). However the seam has gone slightly under one arm. Query to bikers and jacket owners - what's the best way to get this fixed?
I was amused by Nev's comment, on being told I'd only just bought one, that I was "the sort of person who always appears to be wearing a biker jacket" or some such.
Yeah, he's a tease, isn't he?
Considering the subject matter, surely the benefits outweigh the risks?
I tend not to post overly-explicit images of myself publicly, as I'd not want to cause mass panic. Although I'm occasionally surprised to find that some people have a more positive (or at least less traumatised) response.
Besides which, "see the nekkid geek from some point north of the nipples" would have been rather wordy.
I'd not want to cause mass panic.
Now, when I say things like that, I get told off!
*swipes with newspaper* Bad cat!
Back to the original query - there's a decent shop in Bristol that nakes and repairs leather garmeents - they've sorted out jackets and trousers fro me in the past - and they help arrange leather parties, where you and your guests can view swatches and be measured for clothes, with 10% off. I know it's a bit of a way, but they were highly (and independantly) reccommended to me by a biker and a dominatrix.
Details on request.
(Or, you can find someone with skill and a leather needle for a sweing machine.)
