Jesus, I may go out and buy that tonight.

It's horrible, I'm still so traumatized by the whole thing, and it's all been made so much worse by how bad things have become in America since it happened. It's like getting raped and then being sold into slavery, and watching everyone saying, "Ooh, this will make life so much easier because now I won't have to make any decisions on my own."

The views of "Liberals" over here (using the american definition of "anyone who's not a neocon or xtian radical") has increasingly been that support of the Bush administration, or voting for his imperial heinous, constitutes culpable stupidity.

This tone now appears to have made it into many national broadsheets; I was somewhat suprised to see this article as the front page of one of them recently. (pay article I'm afraid, but it's the headline that makes my point.)

If you don't read it already, I strongly advise the_guardian to US citizens for quality news from overseas.
