That actually made me exclaim out loud "You f*ing geek, Wechsler!", which can only be a good thing.

On a more technical note, it flickers a little on my system - are you doing any unnecessary redraws on the coin images that aren't changing from second to second? The digital clock is a lot smoother.

What next.. water clocks? Candle clocks? Hersheban Beetle clocks?

Yeah, it's really raw code at the moment, with a lot of redraws - I might optimise it later.

Slight bug with the display of 0: zero rows take up no space, so how do you tell 00:00:01 from 00:01:00 or 01:00:00? You need to force the rows to be a certain height no matter what their contents are.

Cool, though; I watched it flip through midnight...
