Would you like to play a game? Oct. 25th, 2004 01:40 pm
Nope, no Global Thermonuclear War, but these are what I do own (actually a couple of those might be Karen's):

(and there's a couple of other Settlers boxes elsewhere).

In other news - I seem to have my first interview this Friday, and am up-perked somewhat (partly due to this, partly just mood-shift). Having been to a few museums recently and met more people I feel like I've had something of a mini-holiday, and am a bit happier with things. I'm staying home today though (apart from shopping etc) to tackle another wave of housework; tomorrow I need to stay hope and wait for our 'leccy meter to be replaced (of which we were notified on Saturday, FFS). Will try and fire off a few more job apps this afternoon, too.

I've played some of the games in that selection, and thought about getting some of the others (the curse of Playin' Games again)...

Congratulations on the interview!

Playing Games isn't evil!

And the guy behind the counter on Saturday was sooooooo HOT!

Didnt say it was evil! There's just a curse on the doorway that makes it nigh-on impossible to leave without buying something!
Have yet to experience encounter the hot attendant - maybe I should visit more often.

Know what you mean about that doorway. They even managed to find Shadowrun supplements I didn't yet have ... [grin]

They do that a lot. I nearly fainted when I saw all the Deadlands stuff they had last year, but my card was maxed out. (If it hadn't been before, it would have been after...)

[grin] And they kept me up to date with the ongoing "legendary 4th print run of Man And Machine" saga as well. When I used to take the bus to Birkbeck from work, I'd often end up walking past - and when the bus was actually on time - I might nip in for a browse. Ho hum. SR3 finally sucked me in ...

Scary.

It's silly and fun, easy enough to play when you've been drinking.

What???

There's no Puerto Rico!

Here's my collection, though it hasn't been updated - I don't see Princes of Florence or Cults Across America on the list so I know I've let it get out of date.
