Erm, yeah, so what've I been up to?
Signed up with Parasol IT (which I'm trying not to think of as "parasite"), got a contract with http://www.tmg.co.uk/ (now renewed for another week) developing distinctly over-complex website designs in *really* clean CSS/HTML (these guys are serious about doing things properly, if a bit over-excitable at times). Fairly hard work though - CSS is on the fringes of my expertise and this is front-rank stuff, and it's Doing My Nut on a fairly regular basis. Today I was swearing loudly at IE for crashing every time it reloaded the page. Turned out to be because I'd set a div 2 pixels too narrow. Fortunately a) they seem to expect anyone working on CSS to get agitated and b) seem to think I'm really good at it. Which is nice.

Working around Southwark is rather pleasant - the riverside's a pleasant place to spend lunchtime, and the walk over the river to Bank station is a great way to begin or end a day. Except that Bank, and for that matter the majority of the Central line, is buggered at the moment, for reasons not entirely clear - so I've generally used the Jubilee line for as much of the journey as practical - which is rather quieter, but robs me of the walk. And of course there's the occasional Borough Market. Yum ;)

God I'm waflling now. Blame Stephen Fry, who is (he tells us) talking drivel at this point. Or possibly drivels.

Upcoming this weekend: games, Camden, and various chilling out and coding.

Oh, I notice that the Treo 650's due out on Orange RSN. Might put off the camera purchase for a bit if I can get that.

I'm presuming that's good at CSS, rather than getting agitated? [grin]

I do the Monument walk the other way in the morning, crossing from London Bridge, and it is rather nice. Never listen to Three Minute Hero while you do it, though ...

Yes, I've been rather expecting you boys to run into each other!

Have I mentioned I love you both loads? *beam*

Unlikely, as I cross via Southwark Bridge if I go via Bank.

It's a good site, although the designs often work as standalone pages better than they translate to practical templates.

I'd blame it on having to work with IE myself...

Yay for Southwark - tis a nice borough :-)
Glad things seem to be going well for you.

FWIW quite a few people I used to know were with Parasol, and I can't remember any specific problems.
