Argh! Split-crotch Chewbacca! It burns!

Gym is always good for you.

I did what I could while I could! I'd imagine lugging stuff home from Tesco would help keep your arms in shape, though.

Neither waist nor weight are the problem - I've a < 32" waist and weigh 11stone6. I'm just not as fit as I used to be;

Wow! Almost exact opposite!
I'm as fit as I ever was (except possibly when landscaping at the age of 19), but now weigh 16st6 and have a 38" waist :$
I blame the cycling - all my muscles have sunk.

Though this verges on TMI

When I was at the Pilates studio on Sunday I was feeling super pleased with myself - I am stronger than I've been in ages, and I seem kind of, well, more "supple," somehow. I think it's really made me both feel good physically and feel good about myself. And I know for a fact I look better - I stand straighter, my hips have a smoother curve, I look stong. It's really very nice to see yourself in the mirror and go, "Wow, did I do that to me?" So I say a hearty "yes" to going to the gym.
