I'm sitting here listening to internet radio, adding songs 850-866 to an iPod smaller than a casette and syncing a podcast.|
And I have my 10-year-old tape walkman on my belt, because all my goon shows are on cassette...

(I have to say I find this whole Ipod and MP3 thing just a complete mystery, as I don't really bother with listening to music much any more. When I do, KEXP
takes care of my needs so adequately that I don't need to listen to a statick list of music at all.)
Well I was having dinner as I wrote that... Since then I've tried to decipher the passport renewal form and do the washing up (not at once).
Before I start any major new pieces of literature, I need to finish the History of Europe, read the introduction pack from the Electoral Reform Society, and catch up with back issues of Lib Dem News and Practical Photography...

Actually, the good news is that you don't have to do any of these things, you can choose something else to read just because it pleases you.
Which reminds me, I wish I had a book so good I couldn't put it down.

I gave a copy of book one to <ljuser=lilithmagna> and he spent all of BiCon reading it. It was just incredibly gratifying. When I said goodbye to him, he was reading book 2 and Lisa had started in on book 1.
