I have named the bat "Bob".

Karen then insisted that its surname was "Frapples".

I feel this is cruel (and apologise in advance to anyone who gets it).

It'll be more fun if you get there on your own - but have a clue

It made me laugh. And despite wechsler's protestations, it is now indubitably the creature's name.

Guess who didn't see that it's first name was Bob?

I have an Ikea bat as well, which lives on the shelf above my Mac and pc (along with Dogbert and a nearly Daemon), although I don't think mine is cross-eyed :-)

I have the Ikea dragon. What I really want is the extinct stripey bee cat. I was tempted by the bat and the spider though, and may acquire one or both shortly.

I like Ikea toys.

Saddling a poor defenseless cuddly bat with a bad pun for a name is just cruel.
