You've got a sadistic streak we'd not previously noted. I'm supposed to *understand* that lot.

...why is the W3C XML DOM evil then? I've played a little with some XML DOM stuff in Python, it seemed a bit clunky but not totally evil.

Just the sheer size of the DOM specs. The javascript interpreter stuff I'm supposed to be doing seems to be tied fairly closely to it, and so I need to get at least a foothold on DOM. However, the above page just put me into doc shock.

I'm just amused that you're 'learning about Dom' at work.

Where were you all this time? ~grin~

I'm supposed to *understand* that lot.

I know. I'd just been complaining to a friend about one of Keats' poems we're supposed to be working through, and I opened that up. The comparison cheered me.
But, you know, sympathy and all that. ~g~
