Wot no pot noodle? Mar. 13th, 2006 09:03 pm
I am, often to the amusement of those who think I'll die of starvation when left to fend for myself for more than 24 hours, a very lazy cook (and overly fond of run-on sentences).

However, sitting here with a plate of glazed herb-and-apple pork chops, potatoes and peas, I think I'll somehow live.

Plus I sat down precisely as Red Dwarf started ;)

Couple of tweaks I could make but it was pretty good.

The skillet's probably got caramelised glaze welded to it though...

Oh, that always happens. Putting it straight in hot soapy water when it's still warm helps dislodge the worst of it (hence why having a clean, empty sink when you start cooking is A Good Thing).

Yay for nice food! I was lazy yesterday and feeling very tired so Simon took me to Miso for yummy noodle-food (pepper duck udon! Tofu in oyster sauce!). Tonight I might make broth.

Yes, but I don't know if I'll make it. I'm too broke to keep eating out and drinking.
