Just *how* long have we been being told that house prices can't continue to rise? http://news.bbc.co.uk/hi/english/business/newsid_2001000/2001099.stm It'll all be over by Christmas. Yeah, Right. Update: This has amused me: http://news.bbc.co.uk/hi/english/entertainment/arts/newsid_1998000/1998753.stm And this is vital: http://news.bbc.co.uk/hi/english/sci/tech/newsid_1987000/1987396.stm | ||
I do hope prices bomb out soon. I'm on a reasonable wage - but for me to buy a house in Ely would be ridiculous!

When I'm feeling unselfish, naturally I would like house prices to crash so that my friends who are renting can afford somewhere decent.
When I'm feeling selfish, or protective of my family, naturally I would like them to continue to defy gravity so that we can build more positive equity in our own place.
