Are High-Speed Secure Digital cards backwards-compatible?

Should be, with the FAT 32 caveat, where an old camera might be a bit unhappy with an SD card bigger than 2Gb.

If you don't particularly want a fast one, 7 day shop (7dayshop.com) have very cheap ones going at the mo (<20 quid for a gig.)
