Having worn the same-style of black jeans, t-shirts, and boots since I got here, I have thoroughly confused my cow-orkers by wearing *different black T-shirts* for the last 2 days. Having pointed out that 1) I don't *own* any non-black clothes and 2) I'm a goth, they are all now trying to get me to answer the "What is Goth" question. I can only wonder if I should throw Mick Mercer at them. (And now they're emailing me links: http://www.goth.net/goth.html) | ||
Nobody deserves that.
Goth is easy to define:
1) Do you wear black?
2) Do you listen to Sisters of Mercy?
3) Are you a goth?
A goth will answer No to the last question ;)

Back in my Period of Rebellion Against the Family Business(theatre), I worked as a psychological assessor for an Insurance Company. Tired of the " You always wear all black comments" I replaced the flourescent tube lights in my cubical with black lights, bought a bunch of UV paint and painted my blouses and skirts with various wild prints. ( My best Oeuvre was a Flamingo tie, false pocket with calculator, pens complete with an "ink-leak"spot, and "sweat"stains.) "what on earth to you mean I wear all black?!"
