"This one's tasty, I'll have lashings of him"

The DW fandom cries out as one...

(PS: *very* subtle with the TV aerials ;)

BETAMAX! I *KNEW* IT! ;)

PS: TENTACTHULU!

What you meant with the tv aerials, did I miss something? And the lashings quote, and the fandom...or was it just an "ooh, er, missus" thing? *whoosh*

The aerials were all this shape:
----
    | |
    | |
---------
| |
| |
    |----
    |
    |

Which I suspect actually makes them ayrials...

Maureen's quote was just a "this is going to cause fanfic and excitement" comment. (She was fantastic in that role, FWIW). And it was just a great line.

Oh, you mean like a swastika? I didn't notice that! But I did think the father reporting the faceless people to the police was a good analogy to the communist witchhunts of the era. I love Maureen Lipmann (would have liked to have seen that play she was recently in), she must have had a ball :-)

She was certainly fabulous in Aladdin with Sir Ian...

Unfortunately I missed that, both years!
