Thinking "Urgh, I need to refactor my CV"...
I think I know what that means in coding terms - your own definition would be useful - but applying this to a CV is a bit dubious. Perhaps I could offer a few suggestions:
- Reordering the elements;
- Renaming the variables (changing the euphemisms);
- Using a different naming convention (different buzwords for a different sector);
- Revising the facts;
- Removing the facts;
- Replacing the facts;
- Reinventing the facts;
- Reappraising which facts are verifiably true, and which non-facts are uncheckable.
I am sure that other readers will be equally helpful (FSO 'helpful' originating in Redmond). But the best advice is: if you're using words like 'refactor' in another namespace (like, say, your private life) then maybe a career break is in order.
